Another disadvantage is not really any concern to you; it is a problem for jewelers themselves. While the stone can’t come loose accidentally, it is easy to remove if a person deliberately holds the ring open. So many not so honest people remove the diamond, and then come back to a jeweler complaining that the gem is lost. But as we already mentioned this is not your problem as a customer. Tension set wedding rings is gorgeous and if you are looking for something different, that would be it. If you like modernistic and unique look, go for tension set rings rather than traditional ones.
Metal Choice. The three most widely used precious metals are yellow gold, platinum and white gold. Gold has always been the traditional choice, but its yellow undertone makes it a little tricky when it comes to coordinating it with clothing. White gold and platinum, with their silvery-white look are a better option in this regard. White gold is a cheaper alternative to the pricey platinum. When you buy metal bands, make sure you check the jewelry marking.
Metal. OK, there are more metals to select from than the standard gold ring. Men should consider any other jewelry that they wear, including their watch. Do you have a gold dress watch, or is it stainless steel? Do you want your ring to match? Do you want to match your fiancee’s ring? Do you have skin allergies? Do you like traditional, contemporary, or unique wedding rings? Lastly, what is your budget?
Grooms are also shopping around. It was reported that more than one-third (35 percent) purchased at least part of the ring from a nationally-recognized jewelry chain, while 39 percent purchased at least some of the ring at a local or independent jewelry shop. They aren’t heading online, though: only nine percent responded that they bought a ring for their bride from an online retailer.
Wedding ceremony is celebrated differently in different countries and like that ring ceremony is also not similar. There are some customs where wedding ring is worn on their right ring finger and there are some countries where wedding ring is worn on their left ring finger. Another option is to have the main bridesmaid keep the ring during the ceremony – there are a variety of ways to keep it: in a pouch, on a plate, etc. After the ceremony, the ring can be placed back on either the left or the right hand.
