Donations

Foundation Member Club ($100 contribution):

For a tax-deductible contribution of $100 a Lion, Lioness or Leo club can become a Foundation Member Club and receive:

An attractive banner patch.

A banner chevron will be given in recognition of subsequent contributions of $100.

Contributing Member ($20 contribution)

By making a tax-deductible contribution of $20 an individual Lion, Lioness or Leo will become a contributing member and receive:

A handsome lapel pin which will recognize each contributing member.

Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service Award Program:

A club or district by making a $250 contribution to the Foundation in the

name of a deserving Lion, non-Lion or community organization will receive a

plaque, pin and congratulatory letter in the name of the recipient.

Annual Foundation Raffle:

Each year the Foundation will sell 2,500 $100 raffle tickets. The first prize is a

luxury automobile or $20,000. There are other cash prizes. By purchasing 3

tickets a club or district will receive a Robert J. Uplinger Award that they can

present to a deserving club member, non-Lion or community organization.

Since the Foundation is an official state project a club may use activity fund

monies to purchase these tickets.

PLANNED GIVING PROGRAM:

Contributions can be made in the following manner:

Memorial gift can be made in a person's name who has passed on.

Honorariums can be given in honor of a special occasion, such as a birthday,

get well wish, retirement, anniversary, promotion, or to mark a special event

in your, a family member or a friends life.

Wills, Bequests, Trusts Bequest of any size, naming the NYSBLF as a

beneficiary of any part of a pension plan, IRA, insurance plan, or investment

account.
